Sketchbook Peek-A- Boo

This is from a series of bird sketches I recently completed. I am actively working on one of them for a sculptural piece that will show in the Concourse Gallery space in May along with the collective genius of Mother Artists at Work. That is what happens when you bring a group of multi-talented, multi-tasking, mothers together...lots of late dinners and a great show.

Bah Bah Black Sheep, Have You Any Wool?

Sore hands, sore arms, aching back...but satisfied...working with a piece from the very beginning of processing...imprinting bits of myself at each and every step along the way. I won't go into an instructional step by step thing about how to process raw wool. There are many people online who offer their expertise and have been doing this far longer than I. However, if you have any questions, this wonderful lady is your go to gal. Marlene, what would I have done without you?
